Meher Afroz (b. Lucknow, India 1948) moved to Karachi, Pakistan, with her parents in 1971 after she graduated with honors in Fine Arts from Government College of Arts and Crafts, Lucknow India. She has participated in about 27 international exhibitions and workshops in places like UK, Canada, Iraq, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Hong Kong, USA, and Jordan. She has held more than 25 solo shows in Pakistan and oversees and won various awards including 6^th Asian Biennale.
