Lala Rukh (b. Lahore, Pakistan 1948) studied art at Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan (MFA) and University of Chicago, Chicago, USA (MFA). Lala Rukh is one one of the foremost feminist activists in Pakistan. She has balanced her career in pedagogy, her practice as an artist and her focus in activism throughout her life.
